The lion is one of the five big cats in the genus Patnhera and a member of the family Felidae. It is the second-largest living cat after the tiger. Lions usually hunt in coordinated groups and stalk their chosen prey. The attack is short and powerful; they attempt to catch the victim with a fast rush and final leap. At short distances lion could achieve speed of 60 km/h and is rather sprinter than long distance runner.
Many species of birds go on long distance journeys, others reposition themselves erratically on shorter distances. Birds are social animals – they communicate by visual signals and contact calls such a signing. They participate in shared hatches, hunts, driving away predators and migration groups.
There is about 10 thousands species of birds, which stirs the ecosystems all over the world. Their size varies from 5 cm in the case of bee hummingbird to 2,7 m in the case of ostrich.
